Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt belongs to the lineage (parampara) of Hamsa namaka Paramatma, adorned, in the early phases of its history, by various Tapaswis and Rishis. Sri Madhwacharya, the proponent of Dwaita Vedanta, had formally launched this Mutt, with His Sishya, Sri Padmanabha Tirtha as its Prime Guru. Many scholarly Gurus and Tapaswis, have embellished this Parampara, by taking upon the position of Main Pomtiff of this Mula Mutt. In view of the significant distinction of Sri Raghavendra Tirtha, to the mystic, spiritual and intellectual domains of human life, this Mutt came to be known as Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, since the period of Sri Raghavendra Tirtha.
Offering Seva to the Guru is a great blessing. The disciples of Guruji Sri. Rishi Prabhakarji, have been offering Seva here on all days of Aradhana Utsav, that is celebrated here since ages. This tradition of offering services is being followed now with the blessing of Maha Acharya Sri, Chaitanya Kaikiniji.
This is celebrated in the month of August every year. Lacs of Bhaktas gather here from all over the world to participate in the Grand Utsav. RPVK Sadhakas also gather here from all over for offering services. We at RPVK feel blessed to be given the opportunity to offer services during the Aradhana Utsav.
