Fountainhead of the SSY knowledge is the exemplary life of my master Bhagwan Shri.Visweshvaraiya. His simplicity, nobleness, divinity and yet profoundly human life has been a theatre of enlightenment in action. He has personally, morally and spiritually guided this work. This body has only be an instrument in his Divine Sankalpa to provide true light to mankind. Having met my master I had found my brother, my father.”
Bhagwan Shri Vishveshwaraiya belong to the Parampara of Nada Yogis He had achieved self realization through Nada (music). He was a incarnate of the famous poet-Saint Thyagaraja. He was all purity.
He made
everybody around him feel special. He offered all of himself and elevated everybody to heights unknown. No
one could take all that he had to offer. He was the most brilliant sun.
Devoid of body feeling, his body could sit for many days also without movement. He was the master, not the world. Whatever he spoke was the direct answer to your inner questions. He knew nothing but God. All questions would be the dissolved in his presence. His assurance would take away all worldly worries His mere blessings was enough to change people's life. Just being with the master was a feast and great meditation. He was Paramananda.
He took people's diseases and when asked why, he laughingly said, “I am rich in prana I can loan some of it to others who are suffering”. Everyday he would sleep around 11:00 p.m. or 1:00 a.m. and religiously got up at 2:30 a.m. for bath, japa, yogasana, pooja and music lessons. Bhagwan was a Nada Yogi.
Bhagwan was taught secrets of yoga to cure himself of his near total blindness when he was about 10 years of age, by his mother. In due course, he started spending his time in meditation and at the same time performing his duties as a textile inspector, He engaged himself in teaching music, yoga and vedantha. He became devoted to Sri Chidambar Swamiji of Gubbi. When he was working at Jayachamarajendra technological institute at Bangalore, devotees brought him his afternoon meals. He lived on whatever was offered in love. He always answered people's questions through narration of stories. They had deep teachings to persons who understood them at their own level. In Bangalore he established the Lalitha Vidya Mandir to teach yoga to young and old. People flock to him to receive his blessings and share his music. He left his body on 7th March 1988, at 66. He had become an important part of the state of Karnataka.
